Dr. Adam Altman
Dr. Adam Altman, DC, Dip. MDT is a highly skilled chiropractor and co-founder of Synergy Spine & Performance, specializing in musculoskeletal care and non-surgical pain management.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) and holds a Bachelors in Health Promotion with a Minor in Psychology from The University of Iowa.
Since beginning his practice in 2014, Dr. Altman has been dedicated to patient-centered care, emphasizing education and empowerment. In 2016, he earned certification in the McKenzie Method (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy MDT), a globally recognized approach for assessing and treating musculoskeletal disorders. His commitment to excellence led him to complete the McKenzie Diploma Program in Austin, Texas. After passing the Diplomate Exam in January 2023, he now serves as Probationary Faculty with the McKenzie Institute, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based spinal care.

Dr. Altman currently practices in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, where he helps patients manage chronic and acute pain through customized, non-invasive treatment strategies. His expertise includes myofascial release, acupuncture, cupping therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) such as the Graston Technique, and personalized rehabilitation programs.​​​​

With a special interest in working with athletes including endurance athletes, Olympic lifters, CrossFit competitors and golfers. Dr. Altman helps individuals optimize performance, recover from injuries, and prevent future setbacks.​
